Punch in the Gut

Well, looks like CCAA has only given 5 days worth of referrals, taking them to January 25th 2006. This represents a very small number of families, as two of those 5 days were on a weekend, thus no LIDs. Fifteen more LID days to ours, which means for sure we aren't going to have an August referral, and, if they continue to take such small numbers of families, there's a very real chance we won't get a referral in September either. I feel badly for those who were reasonably expecting a July or August referral. I guess the silver lining is that we're back on track, in terms of time of month for news of referrals (the 2nd instead of 11th, like last month). Maybe that partially explains the smaller batch.
