Countdown to Home

Last full day in China, already! Feels like a lifetime ago since we've left, and yet not so long ago. Life certainly will be different though, and all for the good (just making the great even better!). We'll probably go for one last bout of shopping today, at the Silk Market. The wheeling and dealing is just irresistably fun! We've already packed our very full suitcases, and will fly out tomorrow at 1730 (0430 your time), to arrive in Toronto at around 2300, and likely a little later by the time we clear customs. Then we spend the night at the Sheraton on Terminal 3, to fly home on the Saturday 1410 flight, arriving in the Bay by 1530 (assuming all's on time!).

We've so appreciated all your comments on our blog! It was nice to have you along this journey with us!

Jenna, the answer to your last question is yes, you can (you thought I'd forgotten, eh?)! Same goes for Tessa, Marcus and Christy, and maybe, IF they're nice, your parents. Tell your Mom that if she can tent-camp (and we know she can), she can also eat some Nosbonsing amphibians. Dave and Carolyn, can't wait to introduce you to your honourary granddaughter. You'll get a real kick out of her, guaranteed, and we've no doubt she'll love you guys as well! Hi Gib! Savannah looked like a little princess in the outfit you and Brianne gave her! Hi NBGH PR pals! Glad you liked the pix! Josee, we hope to see you Sunday if possible. Elaine, hope you're loving your house. We look forward to seeing it decorated with your touch! How's Vanessah doing? Hi Teri, Jesse and Alex! And hi Terry and fiance and Morris-in-laws! See you soon!

Hi!

Wow, packed up already! Part of me feels like I have not seen you in forever and the other part feels like you aren't that far away. Amazing what technology can do. I promptly picked up the requested supplies. Omega 3s and 6s? I can barely remember that stuff! Had fun shopping in the baby aisle. I only got her the "good" baby food. None of the peas and junk. Only the good stuff like the strawberries... yum!

We will book a hotel room for Saturday night in North Bay and hopefully see you at Eel's. If you are too tired though, don't worry about changing the plans. We will spy in Savannah's window, that's all (haha).

Do you want me to book a room for Mom and Dad at our hotel? If I remember correctly, there is a Travelodge or something near O'Brien...

If your computer is packed, just call me collect. No worries.

I wish you all safe travels and I hope that Savannah is as good for the trip home as she has been so far. Can't wait to bring her for a spin in that great cadillac of a stroller you have.
